Q&A

What were you inspired by?

When we think of “Everyday Heroes”, many people that come to mind. Some of them are parcel and food delivery drivers, nurses, and many more.

But without these workers who sit in front of malls, we’ll be forced to use the wonky SafeEntry scanning machines (that don’t work properly most of the time).

What sort of experience / message are you hoping your game will bring across to the player?

We wanted to put the player into the worker's shoes.

By experiencing the slowly ramping difficulty, players start to feel their frustration - especially as rules keep getting more complex.

Through this experience, players should be able to better empathize with these workers.

Why did you end up choosing this direction for your game?

We went with a whimsical & lighthearted theme, reflected in the music and art style.

Although these worker's jobs can definitely get monotonous at times, we wanted to engage players enough to complete the game (and come back for more!)
